When asked about what’s been on his heart in 2024, Keem described it as a year of highs and a few challenges. “I just take it all in,” he shared. “This year has been a lot of ups, a few downs, but you take it all in and keep pushing.”

To see his song chart for the first time was surreal, and he goes on to express how he sees it as a blessing, but now he’s even more hungry for that number one spot.
Despite his growing success and high-energy performances at major arenas, Keem emphasized that there’s no pressure. “I’m doing what I love,” he said, adding that the experience has been a dream come true.
Brooklyn Roots and Big Decisions
Keem’s music is deeply rooted in his Brooklyn upbringing, which he describes as authentic and full of life. “One thing about Brooklyn—it’s always a movie,” he said with pride. But in 2020, he made the tough decision to leave New York, a move that was both challenging and necessary for his career.
“What almost stopped me was my family—my son is still in Brooklyn, and that was the hardest part,” Keem admitted. “But you don’t want to live with regrets. I had to bet on myself.”

Keem’s dedication to his craft is evident in his efficient and hands-on approach to creating music. With a studio in his home, he recorded and refined “Put It In The Air” himself, describing the process as smooth and effortless. He goes on to explain how his hit single is one of those records where as soon as you hear the track, you just know it was going to be a hit.
Over the years, Keem has honed his skills as both a recording artist and producer, often handling his sessions and initial edits solo. Of course, he still get the pros to master and finesse the final version, but ultimately he’s become pretty efficient. It makes the process smoother and more personal,” he explained.
A Vision for Generational Wealth
At the heart of Keem’s hustle is his son, who inspires him to think bigger than himself. “I want my music to lead to generational wealth so he can follow his dreams and do what he wants to do.”
